Irish seascape original | The call of home | Polly Gribben

If you've never experienced the coastline of Ireland from the sea you need to get on a boat - its a delight to see all the little hidden inlets and waterfalls and pebble shores only reached by boat.  On this particular autumn day to also see a formation of Brent geese gracing our shores was the icing on the cake.  I named this painting 'The call of home' - as much my own honing instinct to call this place home as the Brent geese who winter in Strangford lough each year.
